What Is The Football For Good Fund?
Since 1888, Celtic Football Club has symbolised the power of Football for Good.
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Celtic FC Foundation launched our Football for Good Fund (FFGF) on Friday, March 20, 2020 to assist those most in need.
What Are We Doing?
Since March, we have provided vital support through the Fund in the form of food and essentials to thousands of families, individuals, pensioners, the homeless and NHS frontline staff. We have also recently added a new stream focusing on support around mental health.
Thanks to your incredible generosity in these unprecedented times, we have crossed a mammoth FFGF milestone of £1MILLION, as a magnificent total of £250K was raised through our recent Christmas Appeal phase of the Fund. Through our Appeal we have been able to help hundreds of local families, giving them the kind of Christmas most of us take for granted. We also provided food, gifts and comfort for pensioners, refugees, those living in refuge, the homeless community and most importantly children who would otherwise go without.
Throughout the coming months, we aim to continue to ensure that support is available to the growing number of people affected by the ruthlessness of COVID-19.
But we can’t do it alone.
We understand that many are concerned about their financial position at this time, and it is important to say that, while we are continuing to actively appeal for donations, supporters are urged to donate within their means. Any donation – big or small – will go a long way to help those in urgent need of assistance.
And despite empty stadiums and social distancing, with your help, we can continue to use Football for Good to bring people together to make a difference.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions’ historic European Cup triumph and to assist with our Lions’ Legacy campaign, renowned contemporary Scottish artist, Gerard Burns created a stunning, multi-layered painting, entitled ‘Glittering Prize’.
The image depicts the famous scene as the team walked out on to the park in Lisbon’s Estádio Nacional on May 25, 1967.
The original painting graces the Celtic Park Boardroom and supporters throughout the world now have the opportunity to cherish their own copy of Gerard’s incredible piece, with this 72cm x 48cm poster print edition.
Net proceeds will be devoted to Celtic FC Foundation’s Football for Good Fund.
The prints are exclusively available to purchase via our official charity eBay account and there are two options:
